It was appointed Natural Monument in 1968. It consists on three caves and a rocky ensemble called “Silla del Diablo” or Devil’s Armchair. The largest cave is 150 ASL and it has 30 meter long, 80 meters wide and 200 meters of depth.

The main feature in this area is the quite green vegetation, a forest covered mainly by coigue and also by species such as canelo, cypress and more than one turbal demonstrating that inside the forest it is a very humid zone protected against wind.
